Agenda:
One of the key topics on the agenda will be presenting a vote to members on changing our domestic competitions to a calendar year starting in the second half of 2025. This change aims to streamline our financials, age groups, and administration, align with Basketball NSW (our governing body), and provide our dedicated volunteers with more downtime. Rest assured; members will still enjoy the same number of games each year.
We look forward to seeing you there, whether in person at the BISC or online. Your participation is crucial to the ongoing success and improvement of our association.
**RULING on Quorum**
Five members present in person (being members entitled under these rules to vote at a general
meeting) constitute a quorum for the transaction of the business of a general meeting.
If within half an hour after the appointed time for the commencement of a general meeting a quorum
is not present, the meeting:
- (a) if convened on the requisition of members, is to be dissolved, and
- (b) in any other case, is to stand adjourned to the same day in the following week at the same time and (unless another place is specified at the time of the adjournment by the person presiding at the meeting or communicated by written notice to members given before the day to which the meeting is adjourned) at the same place.
the commencement of the meeting, the members present (being at least 3) is to constitute a quorum.
